Overview

Challenge

Challenge

Fitness branding runs on intensity. Condensed type, shouted verbs, before-and-after arithmetic. PulseClub's founders were building the opposite: a gym where progress means showing up weekly, adjusting the pace, and noticing how each day feels a little different from the last. The identity had to signal effort without aggression and calm without softness, a narrow lane with cliff edges on both sides.

Solution

The name holds the whole position. Pulse is the body's quietest constant, proof of effort that never shouts, and Club reframes membership as belonging rather than subscription.

Process

Naming ran the first three weeks: 54 candidates, screened down through two rounds with the founders, trademark checks on the final three. Weeks four to seven were identity, where the glyph went through 60 drawn passes before the version that read as a pulse at ten meters and a scribble of energy up close. We tested every candidate on a printed shirt before showing it on a screen, because the chest print was always going to be the brand's real home.

Conclusion

Conclusion

PulseClub opened with 300 founding memberships gone before the doors did, and the first merch run sold out to people who had never set foot in the gym, which says the identity works as belonging before it works as marketing. The in-house team has run the system solo since week one.

What exactly is Kallisto?

Kallisto is a patient acquisition, conversion, and practice growth system built specifically for cosmetic and aesthetic dental practices. We connect acquisition, lead management, follow-up, staff execution, treatment tracking, and reporting into one system.

Is Kallisto a marketing agency or software platform?

Neither on its own. Kallisto combines the technology, acquisition system, implementation, workflows, staff training, tracking, and ongoing optimization needed to run the system inside your practice. We don't just generate leads or hand your team software and expect them to figure it out.

Does Kallisto replace our practice management software?

No. Your PMS remains your clinical and operational source of truth. Kallisto manages the acquisition and conversion process around it. We currently support deeper integration with Open Dental; practices using other PMS platforms follow a structured process for keeping treatment outcomes and revenue updated.

How does Kallisto work with our team?

We implement the system and train the people responsible for handling cosmetic opportunities. Your team gets a clear process for responding, following up, booking consultations, moving opportunities forward, and tracking outcomes. Automation handles repetitive work while important patient conversations stay human.

Is Kallisto HIPAA compliant?

Yes. Kallisto operates on HIPAA-compliant CRM infrastructure with a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) covering the platform’s storage and processing of protected health information. The infrastructure includes encryption, access controls, audit logging, and multi-factor authentication. We also design Kallisto’s workflows around responsible patient-data handling and limit how PHI moves through external systems.

How can I see Kallisto in action?

We created a 7-minute walkthrough showing how Kallisto works—from patient acquisition and follow-up through consultations, treatment tracking, and revenue attribution.
